The following memo was sent out to all employees of Ritchie Feed & Seed
“With the four wave effecting all of us in Eastern Ontario, the employees and management of Ritchie Feed & Seed will be continuing to stay attentive in keeping our stores a safe place for our customers and employees. The following message went out to our staff yesterday:
In accordance with the recent announcement from the Province, we are reducing our staffing levels to minimize the possible exposure to the recent surge of Omicron. We have also established a customer capacity limit for each location. This will help in keeping Ritchie’s a safe workplace for everyone. Employees who are in roles where their work can be completed remotely will be allowed to do so. Employees who are not able to work from home, may be assigned some temporary tasks to complete offsite, and will maintain the same income level as they had prior to this change.
We ask all employees to stay extra vigilant during these challenging times. We would like to remind everyone again to please stay home and to contact your supervisor immediately if you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to a close contact who is symptomatic. We have PPE available for staff and to please contact your supervisor if you require any.
