Application Rates

• Lawns: Early every month, 6 lb / 1000 ft².
• Vegetables and flower gardens: Spread evenly early
spring 1 to 2 lb / 100 ft² and work into the soil to 5
inches deep. Side dress in late spring and in the
summer.
• Bulbs: One teaspoon/ bulb at the bottom of the
planting hole.
• Rose gardens: At planting, use 0.25 lb / rose.
• Trees: 1 to 2 lb per tree planting hole. Water well. For
established trees 1 lb / inch of trunk diameter. Apply in
holes
