Growing recommendations

Larkspur is a cool-season annual that requires cold stratification for optimal germination. For best results, refrigerate seeds for two weeks before sowing. Or better yet, direct sow in the fall or very early spring, as it doesn’t transplant well. Plant in full sun to partial shade, spacing plants 6-8 inches apart to promote good airflow. Larkspur prefers well-drained soil and, once established, is relatively low-maintenance.
